Hortensia
The Britons sure love their hydrangea's (but I prefer the Dutch and French word, hortensia - it somehow sounds more poetic). So no hesitation what I had to draw during my travel in Bretagne.

Sitting on the dock of the bay
I am a bit slow in finishing my Morocco drawings! Here are two old guys sitting in the port of Essaouira, and the gulls.

Moroccan red mountains pattern
Another look at those Moroccan red mountains. I turned them into a pattern, based on the drawing I made while travelling. Now I only have to decide what to do with it. A fabric for a dress, maybe? Anyway, I put it on Woven Monkey if you'd like to have a piece of it yourself!

Moroccan red mountains
We went to Morocco! In the bus from Agadir to Marrakech, I was struck by the green-dotted red mountains. This is, as always, an interpretation of the landscape, because in reality there were also snow-capped mountains behind these red hills.

Dunes
Another North Sea sketch/drawing. It was a beautiful sight to see this horse walking through the dunes.

Boat
We spent the end of year holidays at the North Sea coast, which inspired a few landscape drawings in my special landscape sketchbook - more or less true to reality. This one is inspired by the view on the Ostend Casino, turning the casino into a big boat building (there is actually an old hotel somewhere at the Belgian coast that looks like a boat, a bit like this one).
